This is a good plan for a traditional workbench with steel screw vises, similar to the current Ulmia Model 2. I want a bench with rectangular dog holes not round.
I thought this was the kind of workbench I wanted. But I am debating with myself to determine if building one with a shoulder vise rather than the face vise would make working more effective. Anyway, this is a good plan, and would be easier to build than a hobelbank with a shoulder vise.
