Ranunculus Bulbs - Bridal Mix

I purchased the Bridal mix & was so disappointed. I put them in my cutting garden. I followed the instructions that were included in the package. I’m not sure why these did not come up to bloom. This was the flowers I was so excited about, this year. I hope others had a better experience with them. They look stunning in the photos.

Sickly plants

Only a third of the plants sprouted, the rest of the corms were duds. The ones that did sprout had some kind of blight and died off weeks later. I’ve been growing this variety (not from this site) for years and have never had problems. My other corms from previous years did well.

Trust the reviews

Overall, the flowers are pretty. But I wish I listened to the reviews. I got about 20, 21 corms in my package, but some were broken so I couldn't use them. The ones I could sprouted well, but when I got them planted outside, I lost over half of them. The ones that are doing well and budding, are the wrong colors. They're all a dark pink, no "bridal" colors like the description. I'm disappointed by that, because I really wanted the pretty light pastels, but they're all the same color of dark pink. I guess shame on me for not listening to the reviews.
