The cap-toe Pioneer Reindeer boots are an amazing leather for boots. They are not the softest leather due to their tanning but are amazing in feel and look. After break in they soften into a dressier main stay of my boot collection. Don’t let this one pass you by if you can.

Great boots! Slight QA issue.

These are wonderful boots, and the red is deep and rich in person. Mine had a minor issue where the inside of one of the eyelets had a burr and was obviously not correctly installed, and it left some marring on the tongue almost immediately when I first tried them on. Customer service advised that I could remedy by filing down the burr myself - which is fine to do, but not exactly the experience I would have preferred.
