After a long wait my shoes arrived and I wore them immediately. They were a bit stiff at first but after a short while l forgot about them because they were so comfortable. The fit was perfect, a bit loose but as they conformed to my feet I enjoyed the fit. My wife and son were impressed with the quality look. Good job.

Excellence, BUT...

I love everything about them; the craftsmanship is definitely noticeable. I am a true size 10, but these dress shoes REQUIRE me to wear full-thickness work socks (check out Smartwool's sock cushion descriptions/levels). If I wore the thin, ribbed dress socks, these shoes would feel like flip-flops. However, Smartwool's full-thickness work socks allow me to wear these shoes comfortably with a little room in the heel to move with my gait. Additionally, I do not have to worry about getting heel blisters when wearing Smartwool's full-thickness work socks; they pair very well and look great together — I'll definitely be a regular Beckett Simonon customer moving forward!

I've searched for a high quality loafer for a long time and am thrilled to have found Beckett Simonon's Lambert Loafer. The hand-stitching and craftsmanship are excellent. I hope to wear them for years to come. Thank you.
