Only time will tell, but this belt came highly recommended by a friend that is very frugal and particular. I ordered one size down from the recommended and that was a good call since I hate a big tail on my belt. I'll say it's losing 1/4 star for the strong smell and 3/4 of a star for the buckle. It's very thick. Overall I'd still buy this (on sale).
