Almost Perfect

5 out of 5? More like 10 out of 5. Beautiful boot - design and construction are wonderful. The 618 combination last accommodates a narrower heel and waist along with the wider toe box without blowing up the front of the boot. There are limitations, of course, and my 10EE foot in this 9. 5 Wide is STILL a touch narrow at the ball but perfect everywhere else. (I'm a 10-2E New Balance, but sneaker fabric gives so maybe I'm a bit over). The Rambler leather is not overly stiff, but a plain toe, maybe a stitch-down, in a more supple leather like kudu, might be more accommodating for us mutants.
