Item shipped quickly, and used promptly with a Celestron Dew Ring. Instructions were clear and I was able to setup with no problems. Night was humid and cold, with the dew point near freezing and the system worked perfectly!

I bought this unit as an upgrade to the usual strap-type dew heaters on my Celestron C11 and RASA8 (which were connected to analog (dial-type) controllers. This smart controller was designed to work efficiently with Celestron’s dedicated dew heater rings - thus making them more energy efficient at the same time keeping the dew off the corrector plate with just the righr amount of heat. I’m glad Celestron came up with this innovation and that All-Star Telescopes brings Celestron’s products to the astro community in Edmonton.
