A quality charger/light

I’m pleased with the Celestron PowerTank, it’s helpful that the light has three brightness levels and the charger holds plenty of power for my phone or other devices. It is a bit slow to fully charge, but works well for my purposes. I also like the ergonomics. Being flat-sided it won’t roll away on a flat surface, and the attachment straps attach it to my tripod legs securely.

Great portable light

The light is great and a very handy portable lantern, especially for putting light where I need it during telescope setup and onto the ground. The on-off switch is easy to use with thick gloves and the lamp works well at cold temperatures (-16C in my case) and I haven’t needed to recharge it yet after several hours of use. While it may be far too bright for looking at charts or sketch pad while observing, it is easy to dim the brightness by simply covering the lamp head with a cloth.
