This is a very good bag, padded in the right places. I added some bubble wrap around the telescope for more protection. would be nice if the spotting red dot could be left on but it has compartments for the red dot and some eyepieces if needed. overall very good and well made.

Protection for the scope!

The bag arrived in a surprisingly small box. But, on unfolding it, I found it had protection in the form of padding along with a "suspension strap" that effectively "floats" the scope inside. The end zippered pocket compartment has 2 zips and the main compartment zipper goes the length of the scope and around the end. I intended this for storage and protection of the scope and it does this well. A handy carry strap helps with the Edge 8" HD package. Downside is the finder scope, red-dot finder and other accessories need to be removed to fit in the bag, I found. The zippered end-pocket stows these accessories, but the finder-scope rings did not fit unless I knocked them down from their base. I expect this will be a good travel bag protecting my scope. The base and legs will have to fend for themselves. grn Northern Alberta

not in use as of yet but a quality product, and will work well for my needs, hauling around my 8" Schmidt Casegrain. Great service!
