Camera Adapter

I am so excited about getting my camera attached to my telescope. Haven’t had a chance to use it as the weather hasn’t been cooperating. But can’t wait to. Hat off to the guy that helped me. Love that store:

A great solution.

If you are going to use the .63 reducer on these SCT's the backfocus is 105mm. This t adapter is 50mm so it can just be attached to any 55mm image train for good backfocus. I also needed an M42 to M48 ring, the t adapter is M42. Everything is threaded this way, no compression fittings anywhere.

Using a 4-5 pound full frame DSLR on a C8 with a 0.63 reducer there's no worries about how strong it is, it solid. There's a heavy dark vignette on the right and left sides (top and bottom are okay), a 5/4 crop hides it and a square crop gets rid of it
