Ok starter kit that's missing a few essentials.

Has almost everything you need to start brewing. But why didn't they add a carboy brush? how are you supposed to clean it when you're done brewing? Also I just racked my mead to the carboy for secondary fermentation and the racking cane provided is total junk, it has an air leak at the plunger on the auto siphon that introduced air to my mead, this also means the the siphon would not continue on its own so I had to sit there and siphon by pumping the racking cane which with the introduction of air also stirred up some of the sediment, so now I will have to rack it again which I will do in about 3 months. I will throw the racking cane out and purchase a more expensive one when the time comes. If you are using this kit for wine a bad racking cane can turn a possible good wine into 5 gallons of vinegar.
