The tool was purchased to position plane irons and woodworking chisels in a secure position for honing. It is nicely made and was purchased by me to be used on a Makita 9802-2 water-stone horizontal grinder. It seems well designed for my needs

A little more info please

Works well on plane irons but the thickness on my chisels doesn't fit the angle guide well. Also, it would be nice if there was a guide to determine the angle of the blade.
