Rubber Base Plate Glass Holder with 3" X 9" Plate Glass

Great system

I'm a knife making hobbiest. Been sharpening things my whole life. I've tried many different systems -- eventually I have developed my own with products from several different companies. Sharpo has proven to be a nice system . The grits on paper glued on the glass plate is a great idea. I have made it part of my regimen for sharpening my knives, but I can see that it would easily be used on any surface to provide the best edge I have ever been able to sharpen a knife on. I will continue to use this system. JPL

Missed This in my Cart

Somehow, I missed this in my shopping cart and found it in the package when it was delivered. My fault entirely. That said, the glass plate appears to be perfectly flat, and measures 9" x 3". The 9" length just barely fits on this holder. I find this to be an odd size given that it does not match any of the sizes of the sharpening film I ordered from Sharpo. I am sure I will find a use for it in the future. In the meantime, I can use the holder with whetstones that are 9" or less in length.
