Good but problems

The hand controller works as expected. The problem is the telescope is badly misaligned. I can’t get my secondary mirror to line up with my primary mirror. This has nothing to do with the hand controller. I bought this in 2016 from Canadian telescopes but they’re now out of business. I tried to contact Skywatch in the United States, but they will not return my call. So I’m stuck with a telescope. I can’t use and nowhere to turn to get it fixed.

Skywatcher synscan hand controller v5 a nice addition to my AZGTi mount

I bought this primarily for having real buttons when centering objects in the eyepiece field of view and I’ll probably use it in conjunction with the synscan app. I may end up using the hand controller instead of the app but for now it’s just buttons to control the mount. For that, it is worth the price alone. I hate trying to find the digital buttons on the app while looking in the eyepiece. Weather has been bad since I got it so I can’t comment on using it as a stand alone controller for the entire process until I spend more time with it. But looking through the menus it looks promising. No matter how I’ll use it, it is a great navigation tool at its least. I think this will enhance my viewing enjoyment so I recommend it.
