Snug fit

It does the job, it's a snug fit for my Nexstar 6se if I don't remove the pieces on top.. not a huge deal. All the extras fit nicely in the storage compartments anyway.

Excellent protection for your scope.

I use this case for my Nexstar 6. The tube and mount fit snugly into this substantial case. For the 6 inch, and I imagine the other sizes, when packing up the tube, it needs to be adjusted down to its most compressed point in the vertical on the mount in order to make it small enough to fit. Like I said, it’s snug. The padding is very thick and the overall quality is high, as it should be for over $400 Can. This case allows me to get everything into my vehicle in one trip… quick and easy, with a sense of security for protecting my investment. It will also be a good, safe place for winter storage when it gets too cold for viewing.
