This thing is stout! I researched MANY back extensions before deciding on purchasing the ATG Back Extension. I had a list of “wants”; 1. Foldable/space-saving✔️, 2. Multiple angles (35°, 45°, 50°) ✔️, 3. Split in the thigh/hip pad (+ supportive padding with quality vinyl covers) ✔️, 4. Heavy-duty construction ✔️. I emailed ATG asking several questions about the benefits of each angle, height of the footplate, and construction quality; I received an in-depth response answering all of my inquiries. Excellent customer service. The ATG back extension met the first three of my “wants” but I couldn’t really see/feel the “heavy-duty-ness” of it until I had it in my possession. I “rolled the dice” on the last “want” and ATG came through! It’s definitely heavy duty while remaining easy to move around, due to the wheels, or fold up and stow away. I rarely, if ever, write reviews but felt compelled to share how great this back extension is, it really is good stuff. If you’re looking for a heavy-duty, space-saving, effective back extension, look no further…you’ve found it!

Really well made; commercial gym quality. All joints welded, not like cheap competitors. No rocking due to instability. Thick/firm thigh pads. Adjustable thigh pad width is worh its weight in gold! (i.e., no crushing of the family jewels). I am 6’ 1.5” and 210lbs. I highly recommend!
