Hojicha (100g Bag)

I love this tea!

This is my first time in decades drinking Hojicha. I'd forgotten how delicious it is until I tried the tea from Ippodo. I've been drinking it both hot and iced, although I brewed both with hot water using Ippodo's directions. I live at high altitude and the water never reaches 212 degrees f., but I brewed it at the highest temp. I could (around 200 f). It still tastes deep and smooth and toasty. One thing that surprised me is the quantity of leaves recommended to brew with 8 ounces of water. However, I am still satisfied because the leaves can be brewed 3 times very easily. This is the best hojicha I've ever had! I've experimented with multiple brands, but I always come back to this one.
