First time using it was much easier than expected. I thought there would be a long learning curve, but the sugaring experience was successful. I only used it for my upper lip. I did it before my morning skin care routine on dry skin. Read the instruction booklet, watched a tutorial video, applied the powder & got to it! It removed my hair with ease. It got a little messy when the sugar on the flicker was no longer usable, but the fact that it is water soluble made clean up a breeze. I got a little concerned about redness, but it dissipated after about 30 mins. My only regret is that I hadn’t done this sooner.

Love everything. Takes a while to get the hang of it but keep trying and you won't regret it

First Time Self-Sugaring

I’m silky smooth and I’m so excited. It wasn’t as hard as I thought! I have been professionally sugared, but this was the first time sugaring myself. I had been using nair for awhile to save money on appointments and I’m so glad I switched to this. Way better. I watched all the videos prior and thought I had a good handle on it, but was of course still a bit nervous, however the process felt pretty intuitive. The directions and videos were very thorough. I needed less wax than I thought given the size chart. I was still learning though and it was nice whenever I couldn’t get some bits of wax off, it easily came off with the cleansing wipe. That was so helpful. I was surprised at the stubbornness of some hairs, but luckily they had tips for those in the instructions. And because it’s not hot, it feels easy to go back over some spots again. I also was worried I might breakout because whenever I’ve used witch hazel toner, my skin doesn’t really take to it. The cleansing wipes and after mist both have witch hazel but it was very calming and soothing and I have no breakouts the next day. I also like that all the products smell good, that’s a nice plus. I was drawn to this company because of their simple ingredients and the no need for strips and I feel like I made the right call. Don’t be intimidated by the flicker!
