In addition to the new hopper adapter, this purchase also included the grinder lubrication paste. There are two different lubrication pastes available, and it is extremely difficult to find clear, authoritative information on which one is intended for which application. While both pastes are apparently used in the grinder(64-62 for the shaft), there is no clear specification indicating where each one should be applied. This lack of technical guidance is disappointing, particularly for a product aimed at precision equipment. I also purchased a 250 g mini hopper together with this order. Unfortunately, I will not be using it, as the hopper depends on this adapter to be properly installed. Given the poor design and execution of the adapter, which is completely incompatible with the experience I was expecting, the mini hopper itself has effectively become unusable for my intended purpose. To make matters worse, when Mahlkönig requested a product review for this order, the system prompted me to review only the lubrication paste and the mini hopper — but not the hopper adapter itself. Conveniently, the very item wich "has no pictures on the website" that generated the dissatisfaction and frustration was excluded from the review request Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. The adapter does not match the promotional material, the lubrication products lack adequate technical documentation, and the review process appears to selectively omit the most problematic item from customer feedback.
