I will preface this review by saying I’ve never used a hiking towel before, so I have no way to compare it. However, overall, I didn’t like the experience. The size was good, but it seemed to not want to absorb the water. And then when the fabric did finally absorb the water it stayed wet quite a while. What I liked least was the sensation against my skin. The fabric tended to roll and bunch up while moving the water from one part of my skin to another instead of absorbing. The container to hold it seemed unnecessary. Again, I’ve nothing to compare it with and my test was at home, not on the trail.

Precious the lost just to buy another

Minimalists towel used when traveling. This towel is so compact and takes up little room in your luggage or travel bag. Lost my own so this was a second purchase. Worth the purchase.
