Dead Moss and Disappointment I had high hopes for the MossLab air purifier, Unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Right out of the box, both moss filters appeared to be in poor condition—dry, lifeless, and clearly not viable as “live” components. I followed the recommended care instructions carefully, maintaining appropriate humidity levels to give them the best possible chance to recover. Despite my efforts, the moss never showed any signs of life or growth. What made the situation worse was the response from customer service. When I reached out for support, they implied that the issue was due to improper care on my end. For a product marketed around living, functional components, receiving dead materials completely undermines the value proposition. At this price point, I expected more. Overall, the concept is intriguing, but execution and support fell short. I cannot recommend this product based on my experience.
