Moss Air - Double

Dead Moss and Disappointment I had high hopes for the MossLab air purifier given its premium price and unique use of live moss as a filtration system. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. Out of the box, both moss filters were dry, lifeless, and clearly not viable as “live” components. I followed all care instructions—maintaining proper humidity and even adding extra misting—but the moss never showed any signs of recovery. It behaved more like a sponge than a living filter. Customer service made things worse. When I reached out, they implied the issue was due to improper care rather than acknowledging the possibility of defective or poorly stored product. This was frustrating, especially since I’m experienced with similar plant care. For a product built around living components, receiving dead materials and then being blamed for it undermines the entire value. I expected better. The concept is good, but execution fell short. I can’t recommend.
