Jacques Herbin Brun Eiffel - Ink Sample

Pleasant brown ink

Brun Eiffel is a pale warmish brown. Like all the (non-shimmer) J.Herbin inks I've used, it is easy to clean out, good flow without being wet, non-lubricated. Rather like Rohrer & Klingner Honey only without the greenish undertone or the unpleasant vanilla scent. An unassuming ink that will be added to my ink library.

Not my cup of tea!

This color is just kind of boring in my opinion. There is no shade differences that can be seen in the ink, even with broader nibs and its really not a pretty color. So it is ink and it does write but there is nothing that makes it stand out to me.
