Jacques Herbin Rouge Grenat - Ink Sample

Very pretty red! Came securely packaged and arrived promptly.

A beautiful Red!

I loved this ink sample. It’s a beautiful red. It’s similar to Noodler Antietam but a little less yellow/brown and more wine red. It dries faster than Antietam as well. Sorry that’s my only comparison, it’s the only other non-black ink I had in my pens.

More rusty than advertised

I was drawn to this ink because I felt like it had a fuchsia undertones, but on the page it leaned more towards a rusty red, not unlike dried blood. Maybe it was the paper I was using.
