Rugged, well built w/good materials, good stitching, solid but not too rigid. Good true fit. Made for wear w/out socks but I have neuropathy and bad balance so I needed something with good grip. I just went 1/2 size up, put in a thin gel orthotics insert and wear with socks. It's my go to system. Very impressed. Will buy mids next!

Love these. For years I have struggled to find a shoe that actually is big enough to wear, and withstand the abuse of being on a river on a daily basis from April until October.
