M-Carbon 6

I confess that I didn’t give these boots a fair chance to impress. I purposely wore them for the last 3 days on a Sage Grouse hunt in central Wyoming with very, very little break in time. I had brought another pair of boots as a backup in case these didn’t perform. Well, the backups never came out of the closet. These OTB boots performed far better than I could ever have expected. I knew that the fit was good from their limited usage before the hunt so that part was not a problem. I’m impressed by the combination of comfort and stability. Being a little past 60 years old, my ankles let me know when things aren’t quite right. I wish I had been hunting in these boots sooner. For dry, early season, warm conditions, I would definitely recommend these.

I’ve only got about 35 miles on these so far, but they were out of the box comfortable for all day wear. Lightweight and stable underfoot. We’ll see how the tread wear is. I would have liked deeper/more aggressive tread…we’ll see how they perform tactically in forested environments over the next couple of months.

Outstanding boot. Fit is CC true to size and perfect. Very well made and comfirtable sitjout any break in prriod.
