You need to take the top off then press the plastic in order for the card to come out. That being said both the box and bracelet just came or have issues. And since they were gifts for my mother and husband it is pretty awful to say o I need to return .

I had bought it with a simple intention as something to cheer up our days, but it also ended up with a secondary accomplishment- helping my 7 y.o. with his reading. He loves it and is so excited to see the next day and excitedly reads the card. The music is lovely, and being born in Hawaii, Bruddah Iz still holds a large part of my heart. Such a wonderful addition to any home.
