This was my first A&E purchase and my first tallow soap ever. The lather is incredible--thick and luxurious. I was a bit unsure of the fragrance at first. It was more flowery than I was expecting, but it settles in nicely throughout the day, and my wife, who is not a fan of strong fragrances, likes it. Can't wait to try some of A&E's other soaps in the future!
