Thanks Grok! After decades using multi-blade cartridges I switched to a popular safety razor, thinking they were all the same... I used it for years and was never happy with the results. 1 shave in and amazing effeciency compared to my rockwell 6c. Im using the same shark chrome blade, but getting better results. It has as much blade feel as I want to experience for my skill level and know with some practice I'll get it down to a perfectly smooth shave. Im coming from a base plate 4 from rockwell so this was a gap increase which I was worried about. Still, the alum block prooved no irritation was there. Which was a great surprise because I thought I was a little rough. That means this razor is forgiving. This was a great second razor purchase. Couldn't be happier.
