Brilliant
Way back when (seems a lifetime ago!) in 2004 we were offered to purchase these whilst going through Army basic training in Pirbright for I think £60 back then (no socks but a hat included instead I think?) They lasted me years through several winter exercises and deployments, and went everywhere with me. Had them for years until I left the army, probably well over a decade! Only recently I remembered the name of the product because it was brought up in conversation about how great they were when reminiscing about army days...I got straight on google to find they were still here and going strong! Bought some straight away, and wore them immediately for a cold away day watching the football. Still as great as I remember, and kept me lovely and warm throughout. I expect these will last me many a year like my last set, without having to go through the rigours of army life this time around. Would highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Transpire Fleece Set
Very good fit. Since I was between the sizes, I passed on my dimensions and received the correct sizes of the respective parts without comment. I am completely satisfied. Yesterday I was paddling for almost three hours at about 5 degrees air temperature (in combination with a Reed paddle suite). I think that I sweat above average and was curious how the Transpire fleece behaves. I was always comfortably warm and I never had the feeling that the Transpire Fleece was soaked. In the end, the inside felt dry and only the outside was noticeably damp. I ordered the top with a zipper is very practical, because I can open it before and after and the neck is not too tight. Conclusion: Happy to 100%

Feels warm but sizing tricky and no women-specific cut
I've only tried these on at home so far, but they feel very warm. However, the sizing is a real compromise. I'm 5'3" and 52 kg, so not large, but I had to return the Small as the waist of the trousers was far too tight and the top so snug that I was afraid of breaking the thread around the bottom. I swopped for a Medium, and am happy to live with the trousers (a comfy waist, just a bit long in the leg), but the Medium top is really long (comes down to the top of my thighs) and the neck is a bit loose. I'm going to stick with them as I really need something warm and I love my Transpire socks, but I wish Reed would offer this Transpire set in a design specifically tailored to the female shape.
