Aquatherm Keyhole Cockpit Tuiliq (Deck Style )

Fantastic

This is such a great tool for rolling in cooler waters (Scotland) it's nice to have the freedom of movement this Tuiliq and the built in hood means you really can focus on rolling and don't get the cold exposure to your head. With the hood down, I have used it for day paddling which is really nice for the 3 seasons. It also packs down really small so if you wanted to carry this on days where you might do some rolling, you can. Build quality is first class with reflective details and colour choices and super quick to order too. Could not recommend enough!

Excellent for winter paddling

I was worried about getting too hot in this tuiliq over an old dry suit that wets out after awhile. It didn't happen. 2 day tours with temperature upper 30s to mid 40s F and partly sunny and didn't get too hot. If anything this tuiliq kept me drier from less evaporation so less clammy and more comfortable. After sun came out did a number of practice rolls and wet exit in water probably about 48 d F. It was fine. Not as much of a shock as expected. It kept water off upper chest, neck and ears after 2 practice wet exits. It's great for regular paddling in winter not just expert rollers. Wish I would've bought one of these years ago.

I wear my tuiliqs, I have 4, almost all year round as I like to roll whenever I paddle. Keeps water out of the kayak and my head stays dry. I've made converts out of many of my friends. Seam tape can be an issue occasionaly
