Better Than Expected

I had high expectations when buying this knife due to MKC's stellar reputation. They did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised that the knife was even better than I anticipated. Great feel, and razor sharp.

EDC

Got the magnacut for a EDC with low maintenance. Very happy, very sharp out of box. Looks like a slightly different angle on either side of edge. Rewrapped handle to my liking, left room on lanyard to put a cinch knot to make it useable. Also put a pocket clip on sheath, perfect for both reg front pocket and carpenter leg pocket. First Paracord handled knife I actually carry, still getting used to it. I've always preferred a thicker form fitting handles but I can see getting used to this knife and even preferring it in ways. As far as the knife itself very sharp, durable slicer. Thin blade, low angle great for slicing not so much for chopping but I wouldn't discount this knife for any situation for a sub 4" EDC.

What a knife.

When I ordered this knife I didn't really know what to expect. I had never had an MKC knife before and I had heard all the hype. Well, did it live up to the expectations. This is genuinely such a great knife. Funny enough, even when I'm carrying one of my other knives, I always have this one at least in my backpack. I use it more than I can describe and I take it with me every chance I get. Love the belly on it and I can't wait to take it hunting this fall. Hoping to get the mini stoned goat soon enough to pocket carry a little easier.
