A knife without a sheath

I have given a rebar to all the young men in our family over the years. Celebrate graduation, receive a rebar and a check for the accomplishment. It has been going on for years. I was more than a little miffed the last time when I purchased one, it no longer comes with a sheath. I called to complain and was given the answer, the sheath was eliminated so as to afford more options like the clip instead. The price went up, the sheath went away, and somehow I am supposed to be thankful that I have more options. Very disappointing. It felt like giving 1/2 a present. I still like the knife, but I likely won't be buying anymore. I don't like companies explaining how I should be happy to pay more when I am in fact getting less.

Graduation gift

Love Leatherman as our ‘go to’ graduation gift. Particularly when it can be personalized with name and “Class of …”.

I love Leatherman multitools. Hiwever the Rebar i received is very stiff and quite difficult to open. Im sure it will loosen uo the more it is used.
