Once you've had a rotisserie chicken, you don't go back! The build quality is excellent, and once you master vent/temperature control on the grill and dome, you'll have no problem doing the same. On surprising feature: when I plugged in the spit motor in a kitchen outlet to check its operation I thought I had the On/Off switch in the wrong position...the motor is virtually silent!. The inside ring surface will pick up smoke color, but it's easily washed off in a deep sink with a soapy steel wool pad.
