Sparx BEAM™

Easy to use and crazy accuracy

I have been really impressed with the whole sparx setup. We love how easy and accurate the sparx beam is to use. It has been a great addition to our Sparx.

Wow! Very user friendly

Upon opening, I followed the instructions, even braved using the optical alignment tool (looked ever so slightly off), took a deep breath, and sharpened my first pair of skates. Absolutely perfect! My daughter's edges are still holding after a couple weeks of use (did 4 initial passes on first sharpening). Mine edges have been great as well. This thing is awesome and a total game changer.

Horrible setup experience

Imagine the worst possible setup and you get Sparx - multiple pieces of loose paper all saying different things when you open the box, multiple YouTube videos with not one of them being a cohesive setup video, no way to speak to a human on the phone and spotty email support. What you are left with is questionable, at best, feeling that you did it right and the gamble is your thousand dollar skates that you are going to grind away at. If you love bad experiences and spending a lot of money to get them, this is for you. Bonus is that your skate sharpener gets bricked if you don't update the firmware. What fun!
