Excellent, with one minor irritation.

Excellent quality as always, but there is one minor irritation that has appeared on every bag we’ve ordered. FR needs to trim the corners of the leather panels that the shoulder straps attach to. They ride against your lower back and those hard sharp edges create sores after a short while. Likewise they should bevel the edges of the leather shoulder straps themselves. This is an easy fix that we do ourselves with an exacto knife but it would be better if FR did a professional job in the factory so their bags are comfortable to wear as soon as you receive. Like I said: it’s minor, but it would be such an easy fix for FR to implement and would result in a decent improvement.
