Fit could be better

Ballet flats in narrow sizes are scarce, so I was pleased to see these. Unfortunately, although I like the quality of the shoe, I think the fit is off, which makes them uncomfortable for long wear. To me, these seem slightly short in my usual size. The opening also cuts into an uncomfortable spot across a bone in the top of my foot, something I didn't discover until I had worn them for a day. I'm trying a shoe stretcher to see if that part can be improved. If I ordered these again, I would try a half-size larger than normal.

Uppers are great, soles are so so.

I was surprised when I received my shoes. First I ordered black. The box said black but inside the shoes were mushroom. I sent a note to say what had happened and said I would keep what they sent me by mistake but thought they should know there was a quality packaging problem. I never heard back. My feeling about the shoes -- the upper leather shoe is nice and SAS high quality but the soles are a single plastic-like material similar to some woven slip-ons I bought online to take my dog out at night for $39. Honestly, I was shocked given the price.

Not What I Expected

Normally SAS shoes are super comfortable, but I found the Lacy ballet flat not comfortable. I’m so disappointed!,
