I am so pleased at the quality of these Machete hair accessories. I leave this brush and its matching wide-toothed comb on my vanity as they are such beautiful objects--and as functional as they are beautiful. I have revived my childhood habit of brushing my hair in the evening and it looks so polished!

The brush I’ve been waiting for

I have long thick hair that gets tangles, especially during scarf season. I have been dragging my feet on buying a Mason Pearson or a Crown Affair brush because I felt like even if they are well made, they just aren’t beautiful enough to justify the cost (I’m a stylist, I care about looks). I have been wondering when someone might bring back the decorative heirloom brushes of the past and Machete finally did it. I keep the brush next to my bed and use it every night as part of my self care wind down. It distributes the natural oils from my scalp and detangles the length wonderfully. I’m of the mind to buy things worth keeping for years to come so the cost is justified in my mind.
