So close to perfect! One fatal flaw w/ an easy fix.
Would be THE perfect lightweight hair pin if Teleties made one small injection molding process adjustment for smoother surface appearance the tips of the hair pin.
Luckily I’m a woman who works in plastics and hair pins are my fave, so I’m uniquely qualified to help!
The tips of your hair pins currently have a bit of texture leftover from the gate (where the polymer goes into the mold). This texture is a problem especially for the tips because they catch on hairs and can cause breakage.
To fix this you will either need to
1) make a design change on the tool which can be expensive
2) adjust your processing parameters
3) the easiest, cheapest fix is implementing a post-production QC processto smooth out the leftover texture by way of sanding or targeted heat
Please please consider this fix - will make your new product launch wildly successful! I’d certainly buy multiples!

I wanted to give 5 stars. I was hoping for a tutorial to help me figure it out. Found some on You Tube. Not sure if I can pull this off because I have very thick hair. I love all the Teleties and clips. Where have all the different colors gone though?

I was a bit disappointed as I am a huge Teleties fan. I have long thinner gray hair and frequently wear it in a messy bun using similar “forks.” These simply were too slippery and would not hold my hair - even if I used two of them. They would slip out in about 10 minutes. My other hair forks are slightly thicker and made of wood - no slippage. I gave my hair pins to my niece who has long thick wavy hair and they are working just fine.
