Very weak clamp

I had an older model of this same charger and it worked perfectly for several years, but just like everyting something must have gotten cheapened up and now it wont hold a phone at all. Nothing changed at all same phone same location its mounted only difference is this is the newer model. Ive got a fleet of 30 trucks and this wont be the one we use.

Love new Version 2.

I had the previous version, which still works well. But this new version has a capacitor which temporarily stores some power so you can activate the cradle even after you turn the car off. Very useful.
