Simple steel

As with any coffee machine, getting the balance of quantity of coffee, grind, compaction and length of brew is subject to trial and error. I have my Gaggia MDF grinder set to 2 and grind for 30 seconds. Well compacted in the double basket, the Lelit expresses at 10 bar according to the pressure gauge (in the middle of the ideal range). That makes a lovely Americano, half and half with water from the steam pipe. I'm still experimenting with espresso!
