Not in your face but all the information is there in a very easy to listen to delivery. Detailed and honest, the voices and music are true to what the artist and recording engineer wanted you to hear. Pairs excellent with my JDS Labs Element 4.

The HEDDPHONE 2 has been an absolute blast to use. While it's comfort took some adjusting at first, I have since gotten used to it by adjusting the headband, adding my ZMF Crescent Strap to it, and using glasses with thinner ear pieces. The crescent strap provides superior padding and eliminates a hotspot at the top of my head for me. While to me they aren't the most comfortable headphone in the world like compared to a Sennheiser 700/800 or Meze they are good enough now. Sound is phenomenal for music, games, and movies. While it does have sub-bass roll off it excels in all other aspects to me. Great detail, texture, and space between instruments with a hint of warmth that allows me to listen to high notes with little discomfort. I'm used to warmth robbing cans of detail but not in this case. For music, orchestral arrangements, pop, rock, everything I threw at these cans was enjoyable. It has delightful mids that are rich and full of detail. Probably the highlight of this headphone. Vocals and stringed instruments are especially enjoyable to listen to and arrangements with multiple things going on are even easier to pinpoint in the mix even compared to my Sennheiser s. Mid to upper-low bass is of super high quality with plenty of thump that makes pop abd electronic music come to life. I only wish this headphone had more sub-bass but I maje up for it by turning my sub on in front of me while I listen haha. I have used these for movies and they sound perfect. Every aspect of the sound is reproduced so well. It feels like the movie audio was made using something like these. Playing FPS games with these just as a test was surprisingly usable. While their soundstage is not perfectly circular when listening to music(closer front stage), i was surprised to find that I had no trouble pinpointing direction accurately. Couldn't recommend these more. I want to try an upgraded cable with these next.
