Endgame for me

Aroma Audio Jewel is an amazing iem. Every vocal music in my library suddenly becomes very emotional and romantic to listen to. In addition, I supplied my Jewel with the PW Audio 1950's shielded cable making bass more punchy and dynamic, and soundstage much more expansive and absolutely dark. As many reviewers before me have pointed out, for no relatively loss of money, these iems are a good recommendation for an endgame iem.

For those who don't want intermediate steps and relative loss of money, I recommend pointing directly to these (if you are looking for the best analytical IEMs) or on the Trailli (if you are looking for the best IEMs with analog sound). I preferred these to enjoy all the dap/dacs I have and discover the differences in their sonic signature. Good music to all.

Top tier in-ears for me

Everything else is going to be a side-grade after the Jewel. My previous favorite iem was the UM Indigo but the Jewel is easily a tier above. I would say the Jewel is a mildly mid-centric sound signature with excellent sub-bass. The mids are clear and smooth, with precise spacing and detail across the entire range of frequencies so every sound has room to come through without compromise. The vocals for both male and female voices are very honest and revealing of the actual recording without coloration. And when I focus on listening to the bass it's some of the best bass I've heard, yet it doesn't dominate and it exists in its own space. When the song has strong bass notes the Jewel's dynamic driver can do any heavy lifting required with grace and high-resolution. Treble is stellar too, never too bright or dialed up, always accurate. I think the Jewel strikes a brilliant technical balance between power and control. It quite beautifully handles complex classical music, electronic music, voice and guitar, even 90s rap and every genre I've tried with it, always revealing rather than accentuating the recording.
