My new walking shoes

My wife and walk two miles a day she likes to wear a well known brand made in china and I wear an old pair of converse Chuck Taylors made in indonesia. She weighs 130 lbs and wears hers for a lot of chores around the house, plus daily walks. I think they have lasted for a bit over a year and they are falling apart, she replaced them with another shoe from the same manufacturer. I think they are cheap and flimsy and they hurt her feet. I weigh 170 lbs and have nursed the converse for as long as I can with Shoe Goo. The time has come for a new pair ... the SAS Journey Mesh Brakenridge. They look and feel good and appear to be very high quality and are made in the great USA! I will keep you posted as I bond with my new shoes.

They run large.

I have the SAS Move On size 10-W. I bought his pair of Journey in the same size but the Journey are larger in both width and length. They run really big actually. The good news is that if your feet are hard to fit you will find the size you need with the Journey. Other than that I love these sneakers. They are very stable and comfortable and of course they are incredibly well made. Great value for the money. I'll get the black pair soon.
