Great Beer Kit

This will be my second go at brewing this one. The first one was outstanding, but took a while to get there, as you might expect. The recipe directions were NOT enough time, in my experience, but I likely had fermentation issues that needed to be worked out, so I'm not knocking the review for that. I started opening it at 6 months in the bottle, and it was really hot and definitely not ready. At a year, it was good, but not great. I figured "good" was as good as it got, so I drank/gave away most of it at that point. Boy, was I wrong. The bottles I had set aside for the 2-year birthday of the beer were spectacular. I'll be holding this batch in bottles for two full years this time to make sure it peaks, and likely putting a few away to try it at three years. Give this one time and it will reward you richly.

Belgian Quad

Smooth, rich beer very similar to those consumed in Belgium and Holland. Family members have enjoyed as much as I enjoyed providing. I plan to brew again next Winter.
