Whole Wheat Flour - 3 lb

Very corse, almost unusable as is

This had the consistency of cream of wheat or course corn meal. I tried using it in 3 different recipes as is and everything just fell apart because it was so grainy. I did end up putting it into a food processor to get a usable texture, which did help out. It does have a wonderful taste when you finally get it to work. Just curious if they didn't take the time to mill it fully or if everyone's is coming this course. Either way I don't have to money to burn to try it again. I'll probably go back to bobs red mill organic whole wheat. It has the smooth consistency and still is certified glosphate free.

A rich and tasty whole wheat bread

This is the red wheat berry flour. I blend it 50/50 with the white whole wheat bread flour and get a rich and not too heavy loaf that is delicious with butter or dipped in olive oil.
