Another Great Grayl Filter
I just purchased an Ultrapress to do in a Search and Rescue 24 hour pack. I pack water, but you never know, and the orange one will not get lost in the dusk or gloom. . . I hope. It pairs perfectly with a funnel bag and a 450ml cup. . . and does not take up too much room. Works fantastic for some quick cold mountain stream water. . . . purified!

Great product but would like to see some changes
The product works great, filters great, and the water tastes great. I have the larger Grayl that I use for camping/hiking. I use the 16. 9 ounce for daily use. On both Grayl's I have, it is difficult to see the water fill line on the cup. I work around it by using a sharpie to darken it up and it makes it a little easier to see. Second, I wish the 16. 9 had cap retention like the larger model. I can see this lid getting lost or dropped and not able to retrieve it. The only other thing is it can be a struggle to break the seal, even with the lid completely off, between the cup and the filter. When it breaks free some of the residual water that is always left after filtering water goes flying everywhere. If there was some type of release valve on the bottom of the cup that breaks the seal just to get the two pieces apart, it would be great. If those three things were changed it would be absolutely perfect.

My third Grayl
I like the Grayl and trust it as a purifier. My one complaint is that the seal between the two main pieces eventually goes bad and then when you try to pour out the clean water, the unpurified water from the bottom chamber drizzles out with it.
