Some coffees introduce themselves immediately. Others ask you to sit with them awhile.
La Libia does both.
The first sip is bright and alive, but give the cup a little time and something beautiful begins to happen. The sweetness opens. The fruit ripens. What first whispers of berries begins to remind me of a perfectly ripe cherry—juicy, vibrant, and naturally sweet, with an acidity that gives the cup energy rather than sharpness.
I experimented with different brewing methods, but for me, La Libia found her voice in the French press. At 197°F, the cup became softer and sweeter while keeping that wonderful fruit-forward clarity. There is enough body to make each sip satisfying, yet enough brightness to keep me reaching for the next one.
And perhaps that is what I enjoy most about this coffee: it doesn’t stay still. As the temperature falls, the conversation changes. Different notes step forward, sweetness lingers, and you’re rewarded for slowing down and paying attention.
Some coffees are simply consumed.
La Libia deserves to be experienced.
