I only gave this product three stars because I am ordering another kit. I could change my mind to five stars. I have a cat that’s 12 years old that has had IBS or IBD (undiagnosed.) he has severe chronic diarrhea all the time. As he’s getting older, he’s losing weight, but he is still healthy. I have tried everything that the vet has suggested, and nothing has really worked. The only thing that ever worked on him was Proviable, but that stopped him up too much and made him very uncomfortable, and he started eliminating outside of the box. He has been sick for his entire life, so I am hopeful that the Leaky Gut protocol will help even more after a few times. Although the diarrhea is not completely gone, I have seen an improvement in his stools. According to the directions if your cat has been ill for a while, it may take a little longer to balance the gut biome.I will continue to use the products because I have noticed on the days that he doesn’t take it the litter box is a mess. I so want to give this product five stars, but I am not done with my experiment. I would like to add that I am a big fan of holistic medicine not only for myself but for my animals as well.

This really worked for my 16 year old Maggie who has well managed kidney disease, and has been on so many rounds of antibiotics to address liver inflammation, UTIs and ear / sinus infections. Her belly is no longer distended, her constipation has improved, and she no longer burps when she eats. Her allergies have not improved yet and I still have to treat her ears - I will evaluate next steps when I am finished with the protocol.

Reduction in vomiting

My cats (one long time resident and 1 newly adopted) were both frequently vomiting about an hour after meals. I had used the canine leaky gut protocol with my old dog several years ago, and it made a big difference in her health. I decided to try it for the cats, and both have had a big reduction in the frequency of vomiting. We are almost through with the protocol, and I intend to keep up with the feline gut health to continue giving them digestive enzymes and probiotics.
