Cam Stack Gear - Bernina Part #310.007.03

Was an easy fix. Found video for similar machine. Hardest part was to get the back cover off so the axle could be pulled. Be sure you have screw drivers that fit slots properly. The old gear had cracked causing the machine to not run smoothly. Followed the step to just split the old gear to get it out of the way. Since the fix it has been running great. Take care keeping the cam stack in order I think I needed a small brass punch to get the axle out of the stack. Just light taps.

Exact replacement for the broken gear in my Record 830! Slipped the old one out of the cam stack, slid the new one in, installed the stack back in the machine and a “jammed” machine sews again!
